A complete side rail solution designed to reinforce and expand the functionality of the Blackmagic URSA Cine. This kit combines left- and right-side rails to create a rigid structural connection between our Top Plate and Riser Plate, improving overall system stability while providing flexible accessory mounting on the operator side.

The right-side rail functions as the primary mounting interface, featuring an integrated NATO rail with push-button safety stops for secure, quick-release accessory attachment. Design includes 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes and a forward-facing 3/8”-16 mount point for bolt-on rods or additional front-mounted accessories. All threaded interfaces are blind, preventing hardware from extending into and damaging the camera body.

The left-side rail is designed as a dedicated structural support, reducing flex in the top plate assembly by introducing a secondary mounting connection to the riser plate. Its slim, low-profile form factor avoids interference with camera-side controls, maintaining full access to buttons and operator touchpoints. This side intentionally omits mounting points to preserve clearance in a constrained area of the camera body.

Both rails mount directly to our Top Plate and Riser Plate without obstructing the rod system, forming a unified support structure that enhances rigidity across fully built configurations. Together, they provide a balanced combination of structural reinforcement and accessory integration while maintaining a clean, production-ready profile.

This kit is compatible exclusively with Wooden Camera top plate and riser plate configurations for the URSA Cine 12K/17K, serving as a core component within the broader support ecosystem.
