Tentacle Sync began when, in the company's words, “more than a decade ago, two friends and filmmakers joined forces” to solve timecode sync properly. Developed and manufactured in Cologne, Germany, their audio and video synchronization tools are now used on sets worldwide by a team of twenty-four working to flat hierarchies. Sustainability is stated policy rather than decoration: “we take our responsibilities seriously and integrate social and environmental considerations into every aspect of our operations,” alongside a commitment to fair working conditions.
