Installing a Hinged Belt Clip The BCHINGED (belt clip hinged) can be installed on standard Lectrosonics transmitters that have a single screw and guide pin mounting (see drawing). Procedure: 1. Remove the wire clip, if one is present. 2. Some new transmitters will have a label covering the mounting holes for the hinged clip. Remove the labels if present. 3. Compress the hinge plate on the belt clip and insert the guide pin into the socket in the housing. Hold the clip against the housing with the spring compressed and align the screw hole in the clip with the threaded socket on the housing. Hold the clip flush against the housing. Insert the screw into the mounting socket and tighten it. 4. Hold pressure on the clip to keep the hinge plate flush against the housing, then insert the hex head screw and tighten it. This is when it’s nice to have an extra hand. 5. Peel the die cut bumper away from its backing and attach it to the housing so the end of the belt clip rests on it when closed.

Threaded socket

Due to the strong spring action on the belt clip, it may be easier if you briefly enlist the help of another hand to hold the clip in place while you tighten the screw. Guide pin socket
